Mass Psychotic Formation - We've Talked About That

Image
Dr. Malone     When you're a journalist, it's always a great feeling to find yourself out in front of   the pack. So when Joe Rogan interviewed Dr. Malone   recently and Dr. Malone   brought up "Mass Formation Psychosis", I was immediately interested to see how   it fit with my earlier article about "Mass Psychogenic Illness" .    The parallels are obvious, but what truly concerns me is that many Americans are   being led from delusion to delusion. That's obvious as you will see when you   consider my comments, and what we are seeing now. I will leave you now to read, or reread, my article on Mass Psychogenic Illness  with the suggestion that you consider it in light of Dr. Malone's comments about what we are seeing today viz vaccination hysteria. You might also consider the fact that if you search the term on Google, you'll find considerably different hits than if you search it on Duck Duck Go. That too concerns me, because it's an...

Dealing with Antifa...

Image
One of the things in the past few years that has disturbed me more than almost anything is the emergence of Antifa. Antifa, who appear to be anarchists with a strong left wing bias, have been behind much of the violence we watched during the summer of 2020, and who continue to sow violence when decent, law abiding Americans attempt to peacefully assemble, as in the video below. Look at these thugs - they are clearly geared up for violence, and who are they harassing? A group of churchgoers, women, children and men who largely eschew violence. Thus, we get scenes such as this - where the criminals run roughshod over the rights of the citizens. How can this be stopped? Frankly, short of the police intervening, which in many cases they simply will not, as happened here, it's up to us. There are more of us, and we are certainly far more capable than these punk children. What has to happen - this is an ugly, ugly statement but it needs to be said: these people have to be fought back ag...

Been a While...Things are a Mess, Aren't They?

Image
Yes, it's been a while since I last posted. Part of that was just my complete disgust over the election last fall. Another part of that was that my work keeps me very busy from October through mid-December - I simply didn't have time to think, much less post about what I was thinking, about politics. That doesn't account for the last five months of course - I've no good excuse for it, but thanks to an online friend on the National Review site, Alan M, I'm back in the saddle. Think of this as the Good, the Bad and... the Ugly. The Magnificent Seven it most certainly is not. Fortunately, there is lots to be talking about, since the Biden presidency so closely resembles an explosion in a paint factory. What an absolute mess. America has gone from - geez - what do I say here? Despite Covid-19, the Wuhan Flu, America was starting to come around.  Internationally, China, Russia, North Korea, Iran - all the hotspots were under control. The Middle East was peaceful, and th...

Coronavirus Isn’t the Only Sickness in America Today

This conversation occurred in DC last fall, as we saw in the news:   “Do you have any information regarding the president of the United States accepting any bribes?” Chris Stewart (R) asked. “No,” Ms. Yovanovitch, former Ambassador to Ukraine, responded. “Do you have any information regarding any criminal activity that he has been involved with at all?” the Utah Republican continued. “No,” she said. The day previous, Ambassador Taylor and George Kent, State Department Ukraine expert, were both asked to point out an impeachable offence the president committed. Neither man said a word in response to the challenge from John Ratcliffe (R). Yovanovitch was dismissed from her position in May, months before the July 25th phone call. Neither Taylor nor Kent have anything but second or thirdhand hearsay information. Neither have ever met Trump, or spoken with him on the phone. Since then, documents have been released that show that the ambassador lied during much of her testimony regarding ...

It's up to you to make it happen!

As I sat watching the Tony Bobulinski interview on Tucker Carlson tonight, I realized that I was sharing the moment with hundreds, if not thousands, of fellow journalists, most of them sitting at home in the suburbs of Washington DC and New York. At the same time, I also realized that while I would shortly be writing about what I saw and heard, most of them would be shaking their heads in dismay, knowing that if they were to write the truth they were watching, their editors would spike the story. They knew that insisting that what Tony B was saying was news, important news, could cost them their careers.  Normally, after any "bombshell" interview, the internet is flooded with comments from competing outlets. That's how media works - it's a pile on - usually. In this case, 45 minutes after the close of the interview, only four media stories about it were extant - Yahoo! News , Newsweek ,  MSN and a story from the NY Post , which broke the Bobulinski story in the firs...

There is Brown Fecal Material Spewing Out of the Air Moving Machine

Image
Back in 2017, Sean Hannitty and dozens of other prominent conservatives, plus millions of everyday Republicans, declared President Trump to be innocent of any collusion with Russia, as claimed by democrats, the New York Times, Rachel Maddow and every other liberal you can think of. As conservatives, we endured the screeching, the calumny, the outright lies that the left and its media rained down on our heads over our support of President Donald Trump. I don't know about you, but there were times my faith was kinda shaky. Let's be honest, when everyone, including people who we thought were conservatives (but weren't) are all singing from the same page, it's tough to be resolute, to stand against the haters. But we hung in there, and today, our faithfulness has been rewarded. Oh yes, has it been rewarded. Before I get to that, let me back up a bit. Remember the Devin Nunes 'scandal', when Nunes started finding things out and was forced out of play for a short whi...

The Fish Rots from the Head Down

Image
Director of National Intelligence John Radcliffe has just this week notified the Senate Judiciary Committee of recently declassified documents that indicate that the entire Russia collusion scheme was dreamed up and signed off on by Hillary Clinton. Also that the FBI was aware of this as early as July 2016 from a Russian intelligence source. And finally, that Brennan briefed Obama on it. That's right - Obama knew from the start, just as many of us have suspected. According to Andy McCarthy in the National Review , handwritten notes from former CIA director Brennan stated: [Brennan] briefed President Obama and other senior national security officials about the intelligence, including the "alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services. In fairness, the allegation regarding Clinton is from Russian intelligence and has no...

Everyone Needs a Good Reading List!

As much as we all like to think of ourselves as original thinkers, the fact is, we need information, data, facts, to formulate our thinking. I've always been a voracious reader even as a child, often finishing several books in a week, as well as a couple of daily newspapers and a magazine or two.  Coming into adulthood and its responsibilities - plus discovering girls when I was 17 - that changed somewhat. These days, I generally read for an hour or two in the morning, and I try to make that time count by reading quality writers. It helps too that now, nearly 50 years later, girls have not been falling all over me! Liberal readers, if you want to put a dent into my writing, find me a girlfriend who will take up all my time. So what do I read? I'll generally read almost anything that catches my eye, no matter where it's from. I will even read stuff from sources that the left denigrates as trash, because often they will have quotes and sources that have value. I just ignore ...

Where to Start? So Many Options...

Image
Nothing beats starting a political blog in the end run to what is likely to be the most consequential American election in history. If I can't get your attention now, I'll never get it. I mean, really - this election features the most detested President in history, a man who has managed to make fools of so many who have tried to stand against him versus a man who many suspect may be suffering from senile dementia . Remember, everyone from the media to democrat politicians just loved Trump - prior to that fateful ride down the escalator. After that, they cannot ridicule or insult or lie about him enough. Trump started by taking on 16 Republican contenders for the GOP's presidential nomination - and whupped them all. He took on the entire left wing media - but I repeat myself there don't I? - and whupped them. Then he took on the Democrat party and the 'best, most prepared candidate' ever in Hillary Clinton - and trashed her, all while the media lied and misrepre...

Welcome to Doing It Right...

Image
Hello, and welcome to Doing It Right . I've been thinking about doing this blog for a very long time, but up until today, was posting my thoughts on Facebook because it was convenient.  Today, I woke up to find that I had been "restricted" from posting on Facebook for the next three days. Apparently, I've violated their community standards - but they didn't tell me how, or when. In fact, it appears that I may be being punished for stuff I did months and years ago.  Naturally, this has nothing to do with the fact I'm an unrepentant conservative, does it? So I will no longer be posting politically on Facebook. I need the exposure FB gives me for business purposes. I wish that weren't so, and I'm looking for ways to leave Facebook completely. Art Garfunkel addressed this concept in his song, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover. I'm sure we all know the words.... "Just put out the post, Yost. Post a new plan, Stan.  You don't need to be gui, Louis. J...
